Privacy policy

The short version

We collect your email address if you give it to us, and your name, shipping address and order details if you buy something. Stripe handles your card and we never see or store the number. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We run no analytics, no advertising pixel and no session recording. Section 2 lists the few third parties that are involved at all, and what each one sees.

The long version below exists because you deserve the specifics, not because there is anything hiding in it.

1. Who controls your data

ADELOS, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, is the controller of personal information collected through hollisdaily.com. Write to support@hollisdaily.com for anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold.

2. What we collect, and why

If you join the waitlist

  • Your email address, and which of our brands you gave it to. That is the whole record. We use it to send you at most two emails: one when the product opens and one when the first orders ship.

If you place an order

  • Name, email address, shipping address and the contents of your order. We need these to charge you, ship to you, and answer you when you write in.
  • Payment card details go to Stripe, not to us. Checkout is Stripe's own hosted page; your card number is typed into Stripe, not into anything of ours. We can see the last four digits, the card brand and whether a charge succeeded. We cannot see the number.

If you email us

  • What you wrote and your email address, kept with the rest of the thread so the next person who answers you has the context.

What we do not collect

  • No advertising or analytics cookies. We set no cookies of our own, which is why you were never asked to consent to any.
  • No advertising pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, no cross-site identifiers.
  • No fonts and no images loaded from a third-party domain. Our typefaces and artwork are served from the same place as the page.
  • No health information. We do not ask why you are buying a supplement and we would rather not know.

What does load, and from where

Being accurate about this matters more than being able to claim a clean sweep, so here is the whole list:

  • Netlify hosts the site. Serving a page writes a short-lived request log, which may include your IP address, for security and abuse prevention. Netlify can also inject a small script of its own on sites that have its editing toolbar switched on; we keep that off for production, and our build configuration records that.
  • Pinterest is present only as a verification tag in the page head — a single line of metadata that proves we own the domain. It is not a script, it loads nothing, and it sets no cookie.
  • Checkout happens on Stripe. Pressing a buy button sends you to Stripe's own payment page on checkout.stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies there, for fraud prevention and to keep your session, under Stripe's privacy policy rather than this one. We never receive your card number; we see the last four digits, the card brand and whether the charge succeeded.
  • Our newsletter archive is hosted by Beehiiv. The signup form on our site posts to our own host, but the "past issues" link goes to a Beehiiv page, which is subject to Beehiiv's privacy policy. If you subscribe there rather than here, Beehiiv is the one holding that address.

3. Who we share it with

Only the companies that are needed to take your money and get a box to your door, and only the part each one needs:

  • Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing, the hosted checkout page and the customer portal. Stripe receives your name, email address, shipping address, phone number and card details directly.
  • Beehiiv — hosts the newsletter archive and, if you subscribe there, the mailing list behind it.
  • Our fulfilment and manufacturing partner — receives your name, shipping address and what to pack. Not your email address and not your payment details.
  • Our email provider — sends receipts and the two waitlist emails, and holds the list of addresses that asked for them.
  • Our hosting provider — serves these pages. Server logs may briefly contain an IP address for security and abuse prevention.

We may also disclose information if a law, subpoena or court order requires it, or to protect someone's safety. If ADELOS, LLC is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer with the business, and these commitments transfer with it.

We have never sold personal information and we will not. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no list of our customers for sale, at any price.

4. How long we keep it

  • Waitlist addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or two years after the launch emails go out, whichever comes first.
  • Order records: seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. This is the one category we cannot delete on request while the retention period runs.
  • Support email: two years after the conversation ends.

5. Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Email support@hollisdaily.com and we will act within 30 days, usually within one business day. We will not charge you and we will not make you justify the request.

Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link, and we put it at the top rather than buried under the footer. Unsubscribing is instant and does not stop transactional emails such as receipts and shipping notices while you have an active subscription.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Residents of other states with comparable privacy laws have equivalent rights and the same email address to use.

6. Children

This is not a site for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

7. Security, honestly stated

Pages are served over HTTPS. Card data is typed into Stripe's hosted checkout and never touches our systems. We hold no password for you, because this site creates no account. Access to order and email records is limited to the people who need it. Those are real protections and they are also not a guarantee: no system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will email you and tell you what happened, what was exposed and what we are doing about it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect, who we share it with, or how long we keep it, we will update this page and email anyone with an active subscription or an address on the waitlist. The date at the top is the version you are reading.
